| This type of search is based on a key word or phrase entered by the
user. AltaVista is an example of this type of search engine. After Tweak UI has
been used to configure a default search engine for Internet Explorer, enter a search word
or phrase in the Address bar of IE, e.g.:
? "bc cancer"+prostate

Users with dial-up accounts will be prompted to connect to their Internet Service
provider. Users with @Home Cable accounts or Multimedia Gateway ADSL accounts will see their search
results after a momentary pause.
Users with other browsers will likely have to manually link to a search engine, and
then enter their search words or phrases. |
